Intrigued by pre-engineered aluminum profile widely used in Germany, our parent company Flotronics, Inc. researched the latest and greatest and brought MiniTec (Germany) technology to Southeast Michigan. Modular Aluminum Technology was incorporated in 1999 as a division of Flotronics, Inc. Flotronics selected the MiniTec system from in excess of thirty manufacturers of pre-engineered structural aluminum extrusion.
Modular Aluminum Technology is a separate operating division of Flotronics Inc. MAT was started in 1999 with Products from MiniTec GMBH of Waldmohr Germany. MAT evaluated over 20 different aluminum profile manufactures throughout the word before selecting MiniTec as the foundation from which to start and grow Modular Aluminum technology. MiniTec GMBH , with Mr. Bernhard Bauer as President just also celebrated their 25th year. MiniTec has become one of the world's largest suppliers of Aluminum Profile and probably the fastest growing. The key to MiniTec success is the simplicity --quality of product--the innovative power lock fastener and dynamic marketing team. Modular Aluminum technology is proud to combine this product with our own brand of innovative thinking to the United States.
MiniTec has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
In 2000, MiniTec environment protection management was certified according to DIN ISO 14001.
MiniTec also holds the European TUV certification for outstanding quality.
