· MiniTec’s “Power-Lock” requires only the tapping of an end hole as opposed to a complicated drilling or milling operation.

· MiniTec’s “Power-Lock” can be loosened and re-positioned in the event of a change of application. This cannot be done with other techniques. MiniTec’s angled set screw makes assembly faster and easier.

· With MiniTec, engineering time is saved in that special prints specifying access holes do not have to be made for many extrusions.

One Size T-Slot and Uniformity in Extrusion Dimensions
Every T-Slot in the MiniTec System from the 19X32 up through the 90X180 is identical in both size and geometry. The MiniTec “Power-Lock” fastener can be used for all MiniTec extrusions, and all MiniTec hardware is interchangeable. This means a speedy completion time from design to implementation of your custom assembly.

Use of Standard Hex and Square Nuts
The MiniTec T-Slot is uniquely designed to accept a 1/4-20 square nut as well as 5/16-18 and M8 hex nuts. This allows a significant price advantage since our competitors’ square nuts are about $1.00 per nut. Also, it can be a convenience for customers to have nuts readily available at their local hardware store.
